Last week, November 14โ15, 2012, Paysto management visited Riga to participate in the landmark International Conference "eCom21". This forum, held under the patronage of the Latvian bank Rietumu and with the support of the QIWI Group, became one of the first major platforms to bring together e-commerce professionals from EU and CIS countries.
For Paysto, participation in this conference was a strategically important step, confirming our commitment to expanding partnerships and promoting our services in the key markets of the Baltics and Eastern Europe.
๐ Our Focus: Connecting East and West โ
The main theme of "eCom21" โ the implementation of European standards and best practices to increase the profitability of online business โ perfectly aligned with Paysto's mission. We aimed to provide entrepreneurs from Eastern Europe with a reliable, legal, and effective "bridge" for doing business with European partners.
Key emphasis made by Paysto at the forum: Presentation of our service for providing a European Merchant Account. This solution is vitally important for clients from Eastern Europe who wish to operate in the EU market, ensuring transparency and legal compliance.
๐ค New Horizons for Partnership โ
The conference gathered an impressive lineup of participants, including representatives of major payment systems, processing companies, and financial institutions:
- Management of Visa and MasterCard
- International leader in the instant payment market QIWI
- Russian processing company PayOnline
- Representatives of European regulators and auditors.
For our team, this was a unique opportunity to conduct direct negotiations. We established first strategic contacts with Latvian financial institutions and European payment giants. These new connections form the basis for:
- Enhancing the reliability and legality of our payment service.
- Optimizing transaction costs for our clients.
- Concluding direct cooperation agreements, allowing Paysto to expand the range of offered currencies and payment methods, critically important for cross-border trade.
๐ Prospects for Business in the Baltics โ
We are confident that thanks to successful participation in "eCom21", Paysto will significantly strengthen its position in the Baltic countries. Riga, already established as a regional financial center, now also becomes an e-commerce hub. We are ready to support this development by offering local and international companies advanced payment technologies that comply with the strictest European security and compliance requirements.
Paysto remains your reliable partner on the path to effective online business without borders!
