General Questions and Legal Status
What is "sharing operational infrastructure"?
It's a comprehensive solution that provides you with a ready legal and technical foundation for doing business in Russia. Essentially, it's a complete replacement for opening a subsidiary or sole proprietorship for accepting payments, fiscalization, and document management, operating under an agency scheme.
What is my legal advantage with Paysto?
The main advantage is compliance and risk mitigation. We take on:
- Fiscalization (54-FZ): You don't need an online cash register.
- Document Management: We prepare all primary documents (invoices, acts).
- Data Localization (152-FZ): All data is stored on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Can I work with Paysto without being a resident of the Russian Federation?
Yes. Paysto is an ideal solution for foreign companies and non-residents wishing to legally sell goods or services in Russia. We take on currency control, ruble acceptance, fiscalization, and all document management required for foreign economic activity (FEA).
Payment Acceptance and Payouts
What payment methods can I accept?
You can accept all major payment methods in the Russian Federation: bank cards MIR, Visa/MasterCard (international cards are available with restrictions), Fast Payment System (FPS), SberPay, T-Pay, as well as bank transfers from legal entities.
What is "Trust Score" and how does it affect my business?
Trust Score is a reputational indicator that acquiring banks assign to your business based on transaction history and fraud/dispute levels. Within Paysto's Individual Infrastructure, you get dedicated gateways and a clean history, which reduces the rejection rate and allows you to receive more favorable rates.
How fast is the reimbursement (payout) of funds?
The speed of reimbursement depends on the chosen method:
- Transfer to card/FPS (for individuals): Often instant (24/7).
- Bank transfer (for legal entities/sole proprietors): According to banking regulations (usually 1-3 business days after the reporting period).
What is "Mass Payout" and who is it suitable for?
It's a function for automatically processing a large number of payments simultaneously (by registry or via API). Ideal for marketplaces, affiliate programs, affiliates, and businesses with many suppliers.
Technical Questions and Integration
Do I need my own website or online store?
No. Paysto provides you with ready-made sales tools (Frontend): Showroom on our marketplace, the "Payment Link" (PayLink) function, and Invoicing directly from your Personal Account.
How can I integrate Paysto with my website?
Integration is carried out through our API interface. We provide detailed documentation and technical support for connecting to your web resource, mobile application, or CRM/ERP system.
What is a "Dedicated Server" and why do I need it?
A dedicated server is available for Individual Infrastructure. It provides maximum performance, enhanced security, full data control, and helps comply with strict corporate or regulatory requirements (e.g., FZ-152 localization).
Compliance and Security
Do I need to buy and maintain an online cash register?
No. Paysto uses the "Operator's Cash Register" model. We fiscalize all your sales, send receipts to the Federal Tax Service, and are responsible for compliance with 54-FZ. This means Zero CAPEX on equipment for you.
How does Paysto protect customer personal data?
We comply with FZ-152 by hosting all databases on servers within the territory of the Russian Federation (localization). Additionally, our infrastructure complies with PCI DSS standards (for card data) and uses strict internal security protocols.
What are AML/KYC and why does Paysto require them?
AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) are international policies to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Paysto requires merchant verification (KYC) to ensure the legality of all financial flows, protect our and your reputation, and comply with Russian legislation (115-FZ).
