Domain Ownership Verification in Beget

This instruction will help you place a TXT record to verify a domain hosted with the registrar Beget, as part of connecting to Paysto.

Important: For each web resource, Paysto generates a unique verification code. Use only the code specified in the "Domain Verification" block on your web resource connection page to Paysto.

Example in this instruction: web resource address lorem.my-domain.ru and TXT record value market-verification=25791 — do not use these values to verify your domain.

Step 1: Get TXT Record Data in Paysto

1. Open the request page for connecting your web resource to Paysto.

2. Go to the "Domain Verification" block. Here you will find the Host (1) and Value (2) for your TXT record. Copy them:

   

Step 2: Log in to the Beget Control Panel

1. Log in to the Beget control panel.

2. Go to the Domains and Subdomains section:

   

3. Find your domain in the list (or use search).

4. Click the context menu button (three vertical dots) at the end of the row with your domain.

5. In the dropdown menu, select Edit DNS:

   

Step 3: Add the TXT Record in Beget DNS

On the domain DNS records editing page:

1. Name field:
   • If your site is located at the domain root (e.g., example.com), leave the field empty or enter @ (depends on the Beget interface version).
   • If your site is located on a subdomain (e.g., shop.example.com), specify only the subdomain host name, i.e., shop (without .example.com). Make sure this matches the Host (1) field from Paysto.

   

   Paysto will verify the TXT record against the domain (or subdomain) you specified in the connection request. Ensure that the Name of the record matches this value.

2. Record Type (Type): Select TXT.
3. Data field: Paste the TXT record value you copied from Paysto (the Value (2) field in Paysto).
4. Click the Add button to save the new record.

Step 4: Verify TXT Record Placement in Paysto

1. Return to the browser tab with the connection request form in Paysto.
2. Click the Check Placement button.

After successful verification, the status will change to "Record found":

If Paysto does not detect the TXT record, check the correctness of the entered data in Beget and try again after 10 minutes. If the problem persists, contact Beget support or Paysto support.

Step 5: Complete the Connection

Click the Save button to complete the domain verification process and submit your web resource for moderation in Paysto.
